It’s how I came to PPL. As a mother of an autistic child, working with support programs to get my child services was life changing for our family. We needed help. Growing up on Long Island in a large Italian family meant there were always people around to care for family members in need, it’s a family value I am proud of. But when my job took me to another state, this type of support was no longer available. My child required therapy and care, our home-based caregivers and therapists became critical to our daily life and helped him to thrive.”
