Meet the PPL Behind the Mission
Our “MyWhy” series highlights stories from our PPL employees, sharing the personal motivations behind their commitment to helping others access in-home care through self-direction. Hear directly from the individuals who bring our mission to life, and be sure to check back regularly as new stories are released.
Different Journey, Same Why
This week, we’re hearing from two PPL employees across different roles — proof that no matter where you sit on our team, the mission stays the same.
Margaret C., Program Support and Outreach Supervisor
“My mother passed away from vascular dementia, and I was her caregiver for some time before her death. Though she was not part of a program like this, that experience helps me understand the importance of the work we do and how it enables those who need care to receive it on their terms, in the way that makes them most comfortable. I always keep this top of mind and remind my team of the positive impact they can make each day.” – Margaret C.

Cassandra D., Registration Coordinator
“With my background supporting individuals with specials needs, I value being part of an organization that helps people access the services and care they need to live independently. Knowing that my work supports individuals, families, and caregivers makes my role meaningful to me. It gives my work a sense of purpose knowing I’m helping connect people to the services they need.” – Cassandra D.
